FAQ, Terms & other important stuff
Pricing
RATES:
my investment page which includes all of my packages is located here.
DEPOSIT:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking to reserve your spot. I have this for my own security. There was a time when I didn’t ask for a deposit and very last-minute clients would decide to cancel… when that would happen I would make $0 of the entire amount that I planned to make. That’s not very fun when you have bills to pay, right? So a 50% deposit ensures me that you’re committed to the booking.
TRAVEL FEES:
These are all to be discussed based on the session and what I am comfortable with. If I am ever having to take the ferry for a session, I will add the cost of myself + car if it also needs to ride. Most sessions I do not add an additional travel fee, but this always depends on the location, distance and date. We can discuss this one-on-one.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations:
Your 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Rescheduling:
I don’t like to reschedule but I am human and I understand that life happens. You can read in my reviews that my clients call me flexible - this is because I am understanding and am so willing to work with you as best as I can.
Weather & Safety
Weather
Weather is always a concern when it comes to booking a photoshoot. It’s the most unpredictable factor. I am here to tell you that I shoot in almost all conditions (unless they’re dangerous of course or puts my equipment at risk). I have shot in the pouring rain (that was unplanned actually, but we killed it), I have shot in snow, I have shot in wind so strong my camera almost gusted completely from my hand. If you hire me, I assume that you trust that I am capable of making this work. I will reschedule if rain is too heavy - but if we can change the time we shoot that day vs rescheduling to an entirely new date, I prefer to do that.

SAFETY
Let’s talk the important stuff. Safety!! A lot of sessions I shoot out in the wilderness. We go to state parks, or out on the Olympic peninsula, we are out on trails, we like to go amazing places but with that comes some responsibility on everyones end. Safety is number one. I always love when a parent can come around for that reason. If that isn’t possible, I like to have my husband (who is also a photographer) as a third wheel if he is able. But sometimes it’s just me and a senior out in the woods. If you want to have an adventure session, it is important that you are physically capable of being out there. I always tell my husband or other person back home the exact location I plan to shoot and what time we are expected home - parents will always know those details as well if they are not with us. I carry a first aid kit and all the other good stuff too if we are shooting out in a rural place. If you have any questions or concerns about safety in further detail, please feel free to talk with me about it. Before I take a senior in my car and take them anywhere I require a release of liability signed by the parent or legal guardian.
TULSA, OKLAHOMA
Tulsa
Tulsa is my home away from home. It’s where my family is. It’s where a lot of my seniors are. If you are located in Tulsa, please inquire so I can either book my trip home or find out when I will be around so we can get you into that schedule.
